The poetry centers around current, politically charged issues. However, most of the book reflects experiences and important relationships in life. It's about how a teenage girl observes the world around her while discovering everything life offers. This book aims to break the taboos around mental health problems and show people that it is okay not to be okay. It's about losing yourself completely and finding the strength to stand up again.
